She lives in Leesburg, Virginia with her husband, and four children. Natalie has been fighting Lyme disease for many years and has finally been strong enough to reunite with her art studio.
Natalie's paintings are a gentle moment of lucidity with strokes of humor and playfulness and in each, underneath the vivd colors, a touch of something dark and somber.
"I love the days that I get an explosion of ideas. It's like fireworks. Along with inspiration from nature and goofy children, I can only assume that some of my ideas are memories stored in my subconscious. I think of my subconscious as a treasure chest. I just sketch and see what I get. When the brush hits the canvas, my soul sings and the story unfolds." - Natalie Spinelli
